We are extremely fortunate to have with us tonight three members of NSCC that helped start the club in the first several years since the organization was formed. This is quite an achievement since so many car clubs do not last more than a few years. What happened to the Desoto Club, the Edsel Club, the Oldsmobile Club, the Viper Car Club, and the many other car cubs that failed to continue to exist because their focus on the automobile was not available anymore and that was the primary reason for the club? We have not had that problem since the Corvette was introduced in 1953 and since then so many car enthusiasts got involved in racing, car shows, and restoration that the clubs and the hobby continue to this very day seventy-one years later.
